1. Introduction

Spotify Premium Duo is a subscription plan designed for two individuals living at the same residential address. By subscribing to and using Premium Duo, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, along with Spotify’s general Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility & Address Verification

  • The Primary Account Holder (payer) must invite one additional member to join Premium Duo.
  • Both users must reside at the same physical address. Spotify may verify this via location services or manual confirmation.
  • Failure to confirm the shared residence may result in loss of Premium Duo benefits.

    3. Features & Benefits

  • Individual Accounts: Each user receives a separate Spotify Premium account.
  • Duo Mix Playlist: A shared playlist is automatically created based on both users’ music tastes.
  • Ad-Free Music Streaming: No advertisements while listening to music.
  • Offline Listening: Download music for offline playback.
  • Unlimited Skips & High-Quality Audio.

    4. Subscription & Billing

  • Premium Duo is a monthly subscription, auto-renewing until canceled.
  • The Primary Account Holder is responsible for payments.
  • Prices and billing cycles are determined based on the country of subscription.
  • Cancellation can be done at any time via Spotify’s account settings.
  • 5. Usage Restrictions

  • Spotify Premium Duo is for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • Subscription sharing with individuals outside the shared residence is not allowed.
  • Violation of these terms may lead to account suspension or removal from the Duo plan.
  • 6. Changes to the Plan

  • Spotify reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue Premium Duo at any time.
  • Users will be notified of any major changes affecting pricing or service availability.
  • 7. Termination & Refunds

  • Users can cancel anytime, but partial refunds are not provided.
  • If Spotify terminates your subscription due to a breach of these terms, no refunds will be issued.
  • 8. Privacy & Data Collection

  • Spotify collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy (View Here).
  • Location data may be used to verify eligibility for Premium Duo.
  • 9. Limitation of Liability

  • Spotify is not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or damages resulting from the use of Premium Duo.
  • The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
  • 10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the country where the subscription was purchased.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Spotify’s dispute resolution policies.
