1. Introduction
Spotify Premium Duo is a subscription plan designed for two individuals living at the same residential address. By subscribing to and using Premium Duo, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, along with Spotify’s general Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility & Address Verification
The Primary Account Holder (payer) must invite one additional member to join Premium Duo.
Both users must reside at the same physical address. Spotify may verify this via location services or manual confirmation.
Failure to confirm the shared residence may result in loss of Premium Duo benefits.
3. Features & Benefits
Individual Accounts: Each user receives a separate Spotify Premium account.
Duo Mix Playlist: A shared playlist is automatically created based on both users’ music tastes.
Ad-Free Music Streaming: No advertisements while listening to music.
Offline Listening: Download music for offline playback.
Unlimited Skips & High-Quality Audio.
4. Subscription & Billing
Premium Duo is a monthly subscription, auto-renewing until canceled.
The Primary Account Holder is responsible for payments.
Prices and billing cycles are determined based on the country of subscription.
Cancellation can be done at any time via Spotify’s account settings.
5. Usage Restrictions
Spotify Premium Duo is for personal, non-commercial use only.
Subscription sharing with individuals outside the shared residence is not allowed.
Violation of these terms may lead to account suspension or removal from the Duo plan.
6. Changes to the Plan
Spotify reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue Premium Duo at any time.
Users will be notified of any major changes affecting pricing or service availability.
7. Termination & Refunds
Users can cancel anytime, but partial refunds are not provided.
If Spotify terminates your subscription due to a breach of these terms, no refunds will be issued.
8. Privacy & Data Collection
Spotify collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy (View Here).
Location data may be used to verify eligibility for Premium Duo.
9. Limitation of Liability
Spotify is not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or damages resulting from the use of Premium Duo.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the country where the subscription was purchased.
Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Spotify’s dispute resolution policies.
